PULSE POLIO ADMINISTERED IN TIRUMALA

Tirumala, 17 Jan 2016: The 21st Pulse Polio programme was conducted in Tirumala on Sunday where in polio drops were administered to 6865 infants aged between 0-5years.

Chief Medical Officer Dr N Vikas commenced the programme in front of Srivari Temple by administering polio drops to kids. Temple Deputy EO Sri C Ramana also took part in this programme.

Meanwhile TTD has set up 25 centres at various points for the benefit of locals as well as visiting pilgrims. Out of these 25, 17 cater to the needs of the pilgrims while remaining 8 will serve the locals.
