PURANDHARA DASA ARADHANA FROM JAN 26 TO FEB 18

Tirupati 19 January 2016: The Aradhana Mahotsavams of Sri Purandhara Dasa will be observed in Tirupati, Tirumala, and in different parts of AP and Karnataka from January 26 to February 18 by Dasa Sahitya Project of TTD.

During these days there will be religious discourses, Sahiti Ghosti by scholars, Samuhika Bhajana programme, Sankeertana Antyakshari and many interesting programmes at Asthana Mandapam from 5am to 8pm.

IN TIRUMALA:

On first day on February 7 there will be Ghosti Ganam followed by scholarly lectures, “Purandhara Prasasthi”. While on second day, floral tributes will be paid to the statue of Saint poet situated at Alipiri followed by religious discourses by Sri Satyatma Teertha Swamiji of Udipi mutt, Sri Vidyadeesha Teertha Swamiji of Palimaru, Sri Vidyavallabhateeetha of Kaniyooru, Sri Sugunendrateertha of Putthige, Sri Vidyaprasannateertha of Subrahmanya Mutt. Ttd mandarins will also take part in this meeting on February 8 by 8:30 am at Asthana Mandapam.

Later in the evening, after Sahasra Deepalankara Seva, the Utsavarulu will be taken to Narayanagiri Gardens in a procession and unjal Seva will be performed.

On the final day on February 9 there will be community singing of Bhajans by 3500 Bhajan troupes hailing from different parts of the country.

IN TIRUPATI :

while in Tirupati, there will be special religious programmes from February 7-9 in Annamacharya Kalamandiram. These programmes will be from 7am to 9pm every day.

IN KARNATAKA:

The religious fete in view of the aradhanotsavam of Sint poet Sri Purandharadasa will be observed in Raichur, Hampi, Manvi and various other places in Karnataka during this period.
While in Tirumala, this fete in memory of Kannada Sangeetha Pitamaha Sri Purandhara Dasa will be observed in a big way for three days from February 7-9.
