PUSHPA YAGAM AT VONTIMITTA SRI KRT _ శాస్త్రోక్తంగా శ్రీ కోదండరాముని పుష్పయాగం
Vontimitta, 30 April 2021: The celestial fete of Pushpa yagam was conducted at Sri Kodandarama Swamy temple, Vontimetta in ekantham due to Covid guidelines on Friday night.
While temple shuddi was performed in the morning after suprabatha Seva, grand Pushpa yagam was traditionally conducted in the evening from 5.30 to 8.00 pm.
TTD Archakas conducted the grand Pushpa yagam with 2000 kgs of 10 varieties of flowers and 5 types of aromatic leaves presented b 7 donors from AP, Telangana, Chennai, Salem and Bangalore worth Rs.1.5 lakhs and sought Sri Kodandarama Swamy blessings for humanity from all calamities like pandemic Covid.
Legends say that the Pushpa yagam is performed at all Sri Vaishnava temples to ward off the bad impact of any vaidika lapses, if any, by either archakas or devotees, which occurred during the nine-day Brahmotsavam celebrations.

శాస్త్రోక్తంగా శ్రీ కోదండరాముని పుష్పయాగం
ఒంటిమిట్ట, 2021 ఏప్రిల్ 30: ఒంటిమిట్ట శ్రీకోదండరామస్వామివారి ఆలయంలో శుక్ర‌వారం సాయంత్రం పుష్పయాగ మహోత్సవం శాస్త్రోక్తంగా జరిగింది. కోవిడ్ -19 వ్యాప్తి నేప‌థ్యంలో ఆలయంలో ఏకాంతంగా పుష్పయాగం నిర్వహించారు.
పుష్పయాగం సందర్భంగా ఆలయంలో ప్రత్యేక కార్యక్రమాలు నిర్వహించారు. ముందుగా ఉదయం 4.00 గంటలకు సుప్రభాతంతో స్వామివారిని మేల్కొలిపి ఆలయ శుద్ధి, ఆరాధన చేపట్టారు.
కాగా సాయంత్రం 5.30 నుండి రాత్రి 8 గంటల వరకు శాస్త్రోక్తంగా పుష్పయాగం నిర్వహించారు. ఇందులో తులసీదళాలు, మల్లెలు, రోజా, చామంతి, గన్నేరు, నూరువరహాలు, సంపంగి, మాను సంపంగి, మొగళి, తామ‌ర, దళం తదితర పుష్పాలు, పత్రాలతో స్వామి, అమ్మవారికి పుష్పనీరాజనం సమర్పించారు.
ప్రకృతి వైపరీత్యాల నుంచి భక్తులను కాపాడాలని స్వామివారిని ప్రార్థిస్తూ భూమాతను ప్రసన్నం చేసుకునేందుకు శ్రీవైష్ణవాలయాలలో పుష్పయాగం నిర్వహిస్తారు. అదేవిధంగా బ్రహ్మోత్సవాల్లో గానీ, నిత్యకైంకర్యాల్లో గానీ అర్చక పరిచారకుల వల్ల, అధికార అనధికారుల వల్ల, భక్తుల వల్ల తెలిసీ తెలియక ఏవైనా లోపాలు జరిగి ఉంటే వాటికి ప్రాయశ్చిత్తంగా పుష్పయాగం నిర్వహిస్తారు. ఈ యాగం నిర్వహణ వల్ల సమస్తదోషాలు తొలగిపోతాయని అర్చకులు తెలిపారు.
ఈ కార్యక్రమంలో ఏఈవో శ్రీ ముర‌ళీధ‌ర్‌, సూప‌రింటెండెంట్ శ్రీ వెంక‌టేశ‌య్య, కంక‌ణ బ‌ట్ట‌ర్‌ శ్రీ రాజేష్ భట్టార్, టెంపుల్‌ ఇన్‌స్పెక్టర్లు శ్రీ ధ‌నంజ‌యులు, శ్రీ గిరిబాబు, ఆలయ అర్చకులు, ఇతర అధికారులు పాల్గొన్నారు.
