PUSHPAYAGAM HELD IN KRT _ శోభాయ‌మానం శ్రీ కోదండరాముని పుష్పయాగం
TIRUPATI, 07 MAY 2022: The annual Pushpayagam is held with utmost religious fervour in Sri Kodanda Rama Swamy temple in Tirupati on Saturday evening.
The processional deities of Sita Lakshmana sameta Sri Rama were offered a traditional floral bath with three tonnes of eleven varieties of flowers and six types of leaves that took place in the Unjal Mandapam between 3pm and 5pm amidst the chanting of Vedic Mantras.
Grihastha devotees also participated in the programme and enjoyed the entire fete with devotion.
The entire premises of the temple is filled with fine fragrance of Maruvam, Davanam, Panner leaves.
Earlier procession of flowers and leaves took place.
In the morning Snapana Tirumanjanam was performed to the deities. The temple priest Kankanabhattar Sri Ananda Kumar Deekshitulu and his team performed all the rituals.
Temple DyEO Smt Nagaratna, Garden Deputy Director Sri Srinivasulu, AEO Sri Durgaraju, Farm Manager Sri Janardhan, Superintendent Sri Ramesh Kumar, Temple Inspectors Sri Jay Kumar, Sri Muniratnam were also present.

శోభాయ‌మానం శ్రీ కోదండరాముని పుష్పయాగం
తిరుపతి, 2022 మే 07: తిరుపతిలోని శ్రీకోదండరామస్వామివారి ఆలయంలో శ‌నివారం పుష్పయాగ మహోత్సవం శోభాయ‌మానంగా జరిగింది. ఆలయంలో మార్చి 30 నుండి ఏప్రిల్ 8వ తేదీ వరకు వార్షిక బ్రహ్మోత్సవాలు జరిగిన విషయం విదితమే. ఈ బ్రహ్మోత్సవాల్లో గానీ, నిత్యకైంకర్యాల్లో గానీ అర్చక పరిచారకుల వల్ల, అధికార అనధికారుల వల్ల, భక్తుల వల్ల తెలియక ఏవైనా లోపాలు జరిగి ఉంటే వాటికి ప్రాయశ్చిత్తంగా పుష్పయాగం నిర్వహిస్తారు. ఈ యాగం నిర్వహణ వల్ల సమస్తదోషాలు తొలగిపోతాయని అర్చకులు తెలిపారు.
ఈ సందర్భంగా ఉదయం 10 నుండి 11 గంటల వరకు స్వామి, అమ్మ‌వారి ఉత్స‌వ‌ర్ల‌కు స్నపన తిరుమంజనం నిర్వహించారు. ఇందులో పాలు, పెరుగు, తేనె, పసుపు, చందనం, కొబ్బరినీళ్లతో అభిషేకం చేశారు. మధ్యాహ్నం 3 నుండి సాయంత్రం 5.30 గంటల వరకు ఆలయంలోని ఊంజల మండపంలో అర్చకుల వేదమంత్రోచ్ఛారణలు, మంగళవాయిద్యాల నడుమ పుష్పయాగం శాస్త్రోక్తంగా జరిగింది. తులసి, చామంతి, గన్నేరు, మొగలి, సంపంగి, రోజా, కలువలు వంటి 11 రకాల పుష్పాలు, ఐదు రకాల ప‌త్రాలు కలిపి మొత్తం 3 టన్నుల పుష్పాలు, ప‌త్రాల‌తో స్వామి, అమ్మవార్లకు యాగం నిర్వహించారు. త‌మిళ‌నాడు, కర్ణాటక, ఆంధ్ర‌ప్ర‌దేశ్‌, తెలంగాణ రాష్ట్రాల నుంచి పుష్పాలు విరాళంగా అందాయి. మొదటగా అర్చకులు 108 సార్లు విష్ణుగాయత్రి మంత్రాన్ని పఠించి పుష్పాలకు అధిపతి అయిన పుల్లుడు అనే దేవున్ని ప్రసన్నం చేసుకున్నారు. ఇలా చేయడం వల్ల ప్రకృతిమాత పులకించి ఎలాంటి వైపరీత్యాలు తలెత్తకుండా స్వామివారు కరుణిస్తారని నమ్మకం. పుష్పయాగం అనంతరం శ్రీసీతాలక్ష్మణ సమేత కోదండరామస్వామివారిని ఆలయ నాలుగు మాడ వీధుల్లో ఊరేగించారు.
ఈ కార్యక్రమంలో ఆలయ డెప్యూటీ ఈవో శ్రీమతి నాగ‌ర‌త్న, గార్డెన్‌ సూపరింటెండెంట్‌ శ్రీ శ్రీనివాసులు, ఏఈవో శ్రీ దుర్గ‌రాజు, సూపరింటెండెంట్‌ శ్రీ రమేష్‌, టెంపుల్‌ ఇన్‌స్పెక్టర్లు శ్రీ మునిరత్నం, శ్రీ జయకుమార్, ఆలయ అర్చకులు, విశేష సంఖ్యలో భక్తులు పాల్గొన్నారు.
