QUOTA TO TTD EMPLOYEES CHILDREN IN SV COLLEGE OF DELHI-CHAIRMAN

Tirupati, 11 June 2016: The TTD Trust board chairman Dr Ch Krishnamurthy said, it is in fact a welcoming aspect hat the children of TTD employees and locals are being given the prominence in the SV college of Degree and PG run by TTD in country’s capital city which is considered to be one of the best top ten colleges in the nation.

Addressing media persons in his camp office at Madhava Nilayam in Tirupati on Saturday, the Chairman said, he had negotiated with the college principal Smt Hemalatha Reddy over the quota of seats to the locals in detail. “This year apart from the quota of 41 seats to the Southern India students who had studied Telugu, Tamil, Sanskrit as their language in Inter, 10 seats have been allocated to the children of TTD employees. The students can apply online to www.du.ac.in on or before June 19 for admission in to this reputed college”, he added

He said TTD is spending Rs.5.75crores towards the construction of hostels and Rs.4.5crores towards science block in this college.

ENGLISH MEDIUM OF EDUCATION IN TTD COLLEGES

The TTD chairman said, from this academic year onwards, TTD will introduce medium of instruction in English in some of its colleges including SPWDPG. “The counselling for admission in to the junior colleges of TTD will be held on 16, 17, 18 of June and into Degree colleges on 22,23, 24 of June. We will also put efforts to increase the hostel seats also”, he added.
