RAMAKOTI SHOBHA YATRA HENCEFORTH DURING TOLI EKADASI EVERY YEAR

Tirupati, The Shobha Yatra of over 12 crore Rama Koti Namas from Sri Kodanda RAMA Swamy temple to Sri Ramachandra Pushkarini was held on Monday evening with religious ecstasy.

Speaking on this ceremonious occasion the temple chief priest Sri Ananda Dikshitulu said, TTD from the past four years has introduced the noble thought of writing Rama Nama during annual brahmotsavams and Sri Rama Navami in temple. “Those who have written Rama Koti in their houses can also handover the books to us for preserving the in Rama Stupa. The management has decided to collect these books and take them in Shobha Yatra and preserve them in Rama Stupa on the auspicious day of First Ekadasi in Chaturmasa which is also called Sayana Ekadasi or TOLI Ekadasi every year”, he added.

Meanwhile on Monday evening the Ramakoti books were rendered prayers by placing them at the Lotus Feet of Lord Sri Rama before they were taken on a procession to Sri Rama Chandra Pushkarini where they were preserved in the Rama Stupa with religious fervour.

Temple DyEO Sri Bhupathi Reddy, Superintendent Sri Uma Maheswar Reddy were also present.
