RAMANUJA PREACHED SRIVAISHNAVAM WITH ASTAKSHARI-EO

Tirupati, 19 April 2017: The great Saint poet Sri Ramanujacharya propagated Sri Vaishanavism with “Astakshari Mantram”-On Namo Narayana and pioneered duality and fraternity over 1000 years ago itself”, said TTD EO Dr D Sambasiva Rao.

Speaking on the occasion of the inaugural session of three day seminar on Ramanujacharya organised by TTD in Annamacharya Kalamandiram on Wednesday, the EO said, as a tribute to the saintly person, TTD has been observing his millennium birth anniversary in a befitting manner by taking up Ratha Yatra covering all Sri Vaishnava Divya Desams across the country.

Later the EO released the books Kulasekaralwar Perumal Tirumodi, Nacchiyar Tirumozhi penned by Sri Jayaprakash and Sri Nishant respectively published by Alwar Divya Prabandha project of TTD
All Projects Special Officer Sri N Muktheswara Rao, Vedic Varsity VC Sri KE Devanathan also spoke on this occasion.
