RATHAYATRA IN EAST GODAVARI POSTPONED

Tirupati, 2 Nov,2014: The Rathayatra mulled by HDPP wing of TTD in the district of East Godavari which was earlier scheduled to take place from October 25 to November 25 has been postponed following Hudud cyclone.

The specially decked ratham will carry the replicas of Lord and Goddesses and proceed all along the district covering all the remote villages.

This Rathayatra will now commence from 29th of this month and conclude on 29th of December. This Rathayatra will cover Maredupalle, Tuni, Pithapuram, Yanam, Ayinavilli, Amalapuram, Kadiyam, Sitanagaram, Rajanagaram, Rajamundry and other places.

Meanwhile Srinivasa Kalyanams will take place at Rampachodavaram on December 3, at Amalapuram on December 18 and at Rajamundry on December 29.
