RATHOTSAVAM ATTRACTS HUNDREDS OF DEVOTEES

Appalayagunta, 13 June 2017: On the penultimate day (eighth day) morning Lord Prasanna Venkateswara Swamy is taken out in a procession along with his consorts seated on a tastefully decorated Chariot pulled by the devotees chanting Govinda Nama on tuesday in Appalayagunta.

The temple surroundings are flooded with devotes to witness this occasion. It is believed and said that those who witness the Lord seated on the Chariot during Rathostavam will not be reborn. The chariot rolled majestically down the thoroughfares of temple roads and the entire environs zoomed with devotional fervour.

Meanwhile the Navahnika brahmotavams will conclude with chakra snanam on Tuesday.
