RATHOTSAVAM IN SRI PRASANNA VENKATESWARA SWAMY TEMPLE

Appalayagunta, June 15, 2014: Thousands of devotees dragged the chariot carrying deities of Lord Prasanna Venkateswara along with His consorts around the temple during `Rathothsavam’ (chariot festival) on Sunday as part of the ongoing Brahmotsavam. The flower-bedecked wooden chariot was tastefully decorated for the occasion even as `Govinda… Govinda’ chant rent the air.

Sri MG Gopal, Spl Gr DyEO Sri Bhaskar Reddy, AEO Smt Nagarathnamma, Supdt Engineer Sri Sudhakar Rao, Garden Supdt Sri Srinivas, Temple Staff and devotees took part.
