“RENDERING DEDICATED SERVICES TO COMMONERS IS A REAL TRIBUTE TO DR.AMBEDKAR” – TTD EO

TIRUPATI, APRIL 14: Bharat Ratna Dr B R Ambedkar dreamt of a country where all people enjoy all rights equally and this will become reality if we render dedicated services to multitude of common pilgrims and this will be a true tribute to the great son of India, said Ttd EO Dr D Samba Siva Rao.

Addressing 124th Birth Anniversary of Dr BR Ambedkar in TTD Administrative building in Tirupati on Tuesday, the EO said Dr Ambedkar was one of the architects of the Indian Constitution. He was a well-known politician and an eminent jurist. Ambedkar’s efforts to eradicate the social evils like untouchablity and caste restrictions were remarkable. The leader, throughout his life, fought for the rights of the socially backward classes.He later he became the first Las Minister in free India. The credit for making a law and creating the necessary atmosphere to wipe out ‘Untouchability’ goes to Ambedkar”, EO added.

In his speech Tirupati JEO Sri P Bhaskar said Dr Baba Saheb Ambedkar proved that caste is no bar for education and became highly intellectual and architect of free India pursuing many degrees in education.

Tirumala Jeo Sri KS Sreenivasa Raju said Dr Ambedkar fought against all social odds which were rampant in the society in olden days and dedicated his entire life lending his voice for social justice.

In their speech Sri Nageswara Rao, Section Engineer of CRS and Sri Bhaskar Rao, Retired Professor of Agricultural college later elaborated on the childhood, education, life of Dr Ambedkar as a politician, economist, jurist and social reformer giving instances from his life history.

Many employees also spoke on this occasion and recalled the great services of Dr Ambedkar. Devasthanams Law Officer Sri Nagarjuna, PRO Dr T Ravi also spoke on this occasion.

In this programme organised under the aegis of Welfare Department DyEO Smt Gautami, Spl.Gr.Dy.E.E Sri Bhaskar Reddy, DyEOs Sri Siva Reddy, Sri C Ramana, Sri Subramanyam, HDPP SO Sri S Raghunath, employees were also present.
