RICH FLORAL TRIBUTES PAID TO LORD GOVINDARAJA SWAMY

Tirupati, 24 June 2015: The annual floral festival, PUSHPAYAGAM has been performed with religious fervour in the famous ancient shrine of Sri Govindaraja Swamy temple on Wednesday evening.

This fete was introduced in this Temple by TTD during last year. As a part of this celestial fete, Lord Sri Govindaraja swamy flanked by His two consorts was seated on a specially decked platform and was rendered floral bath with over four tonnes of 12 varieties of aromatic flowers and six fluorescent traditional leaves. It was an eye catching event for the scores of devotees who participated in the event.

TTD EO Dr D Sambasiva Rao, Temple DyEO Sri Chandrasekhar Pillai and others were also present.
