RICHIE RICH GODDESS RECEIVES HER FIRST VASTRAM FROM AP GOVT.

Tiruchanur, 19 November 2014: As a usual practice of presenting silk vastrams on behalf of the State government to Goddess Padmavathi during annual brahmotsavams at Tiruchanoor, the AP Minister for Environment & Forests, Science & Technology, Cooperation Sri Bojjala Gopala Krishna Reddy presented “pattu vastrams” on Wednesday evening.

He appreciated the TTD management for making elaborate arrangements for the smooth conduct of the annual event and appealed to the public to visit the temple during the nine days. He also said, that he sought Mother Goddess to bestow Her blessings on the people of the state and make the new state strong enough to overcome all the hurdles and become prosperous for ever and ever.

TTD EO Sri MG Gopal, JEO Sri Pola Bhaskar, Chandragiri MLA Sri C Bhaskar Reddy also accompanied the minister. Temple SpGrDyEO Smt Chenchu Lakshmi and other officials of the temple were also present.
