SAINT POET ANNAMACHARYA’S 512th DEATH ANNIVERSARY POSTER RELEASED

Tirupati, 11 March 2015: Tirupati Jeo Sri P Bhaskar on Wednesday evening released the posters of 512th Vardhanti Mahotsavam of Saint poet Tallapaka Annamacharya in Annamacharya Kalamandiram in Tirupati.

Speaking on this occasion, the Jeo said, TTD will be observing a week long fete in this connection as a tribute to the great poet in Tirupati, Tirumala and in Tallapaka from March 17 to 22 in a grand manner. The JEO recalled the literary services of the Saint poet who dedicated his entire life in penning 32thousand keertans in praise of Lord and attained salvation. The JEO said, there will be Unjal Seva on 17th March in Narayanagiri Gardens at Tirumala where in the Lord along with His two consorts grace this religious fete of His beloved Bhaktha. “On this occasion renowned artistes like Priya Sisters, Kumari Kanyakumari, Dr G Balakrishna Prasad will also render Annamaiah kritis. Apart from this the young talents who were selected by the Kala Neerajanam platform will also be given an opportunity to showcase their talents in all these three places”, JEO added.
