SAPTHAGIRI MAGAZINES GETS A NEW LOOK FROM NEW YEAR

TTD FOR SEPARATE APPLICATION ON ITS WEBSITE FOR DONORS

TIRUPATI, 28 December 2015: After bringing out wide range of changes in its web site making it so netizen friendly, TTD has now set for a make over in the interests of its global donors.

Addressing the seniors officers meeting in Tirupati on Monday in his chambers in TTD administrative building, the TTD EO Dr D Sambasiva Rao has instructed the concerned officers to give priority to donors by extending hospitality services in a better way including accommodation, darshan etc. whenever they visit as per the guidelines provided by TTD.

He has instructed the IT wing of TTD to prepare a separate application for the donors and link it with official website of TTD so as to enable the global pilgrims to enlighten them on the various Trusts run by TTD, guidelines, payment gateways, e-donation, e-hundi etc. and enable them to donate on-line.

“Even from January 1 onwards next, the names of new donors should also be upgraded on the website. The donor cell should complete the issuance of donor pass books with out pending before January 1”, he directed.

TTD’s SAPTHAGIRI GETS THE COLOURFUL MAKEOVER

Sapthagiri, the monthly spiritual, religious magazine run by TTD is all set to muse its readers with its new look from the new year on wards, as it has got a colourful makeover with all pages in colours.

Releasing the makeover magazine in his chambers at TTD Administrative Building in Tirupati on Monday, TTD EO said, the magazine initially started as a bulletin of TTD in 1949 and had seen lot of makeovers in the last six decades. “It was released in five languages from 1972 and in sanskrit from 2014. Now from next year onwards, all the pages will be in colour with interesting articles by expert scholars in respective languages to attract its readers”, he added

Meanwhile the 2016 January issue of Sapthagiri is coming as Dhanurmasa Special with Godai pasurams translated in Telugu by renowned scholar Sri Devulappale Krishna Shastry with relevant drawings by famous artist Sri Bapu.

The magazine also carries importance of Sankranti Festival, Rashi Palam, Dharmika Pada Gnanam(Cross Word Puzzle) as special attractions.At present there are over 1.7lakh subscribers are there for Sapthagiri magazine.

CVSO Sri Nagendra Kumar, CE Sri Chandrasekhar Reddy, Additional FACAO Sri Balaji, All Projects Special Officer Sri N Muktheswara Rao, Chief Editor Sapthagiri Sri Saila Kumar and others were also present.

DEMAND FOR TTD CALENDARS AND DIARIES ‘

The increasing demand for TTD calendars and diaries forced TTD to go for printing of additional one lakh diaries and so far over 80% of them were already sold in the market.

TTD has printed 15.5lakhs twelve sheet calendars, seven lakhs diaries, ten lakhs of single calendars, panchangam calendars, Swamy-Ammavaru calendars and kept for sales in all the metro cities in India, TTD information centres etc. The sales began in the month of October and so far about 80% calendars, 92% diaries have been sold out.

On demand from pilgrims, TTD has ordered for the printing of additional one lakh diaries which will come in to market from the first week of January 2016.
