SARVADARSHAN TO PILGRIMS AFTER 10.30PM ON OCT 8

Tirumala, 6 October 2014: The famous hill shrine of Lord Venkateswara will be closed from 10am till 8pm on October 8 following lunar eclipse and the Sarva Darshan of pilgrims will commence only after 10.30pm on the same day.

In this connection, TTD has cancelled all arjitha sevas for the day and also VIP break darshan. The eclipse will be from 4.45pm to 7.05pm. But it is a tradition to close the temple doors at least 6hrs before the eclipse.

Meanwhile there will be panchanga shravanam during wee hours on October 8 by 4.45am and devotees will be allowed for darshan from 6.30am to 9.30am. After that the temple doors will be closed and re-opened only after 8pm. Later Suddhi, Punyahavachanam will be performed and pilgrims will be allowed for Sarva Darshan from 10.30pm till midnight.

The pilgrims are requested to make note of these changes and plan their pilgrimage accordingly.
