SAVE ENERGY AND ENHANCE BEAUTY OF TIRUMALA WITH LED LIGHTS-TTD EO

Tirumala, 27 December 2016: To enhance the glow of Tirumala township and to save light energy, the TTD EO Dr D Sambasiva Rao has instructed the electrical wing of TTD to replace ordinary lights with LED in necessary areas.

The weekly review meeting by TTD EO along with Tirumala JEO Sri KS Sreenivasa Raju was held at Annamaiah Bhavan in Tirumala on Tuesday. The EO reviewed on various developmental activities with respect to different departments. some excerpts.

ACCIDENT FREE MEASURES IN GHATS

To ensure accident free measures, the TTD EO directed the TTD vigilance department to take stern action against the vehicle drivers by not allowing them to ply on ghat roads, if they are involved in road accidents.

MORE RO UNITS

The EO directed the engineering with to install more Jalaprasadam units at Koustubham, HVC KKC, opposite ATC Generator, Sapthagiri Parking area, MBC luggage counter and in Medaramitta areas for the sake of pilgrims.

MORE TAPS AND TOILETS IN N’GIRI GARDENS

In view of the ensuing Vaikuntha Ekadasi and Dwadasi rush, the TTD EO has directed the concerned to set up additional taps and mobile toilets in the special sheds to be erected at Narayanagiri gardens for the sake of pilgrims. The pilgrims should be offered with coffee, tea and other beverages at regular intervals.

REGULAR CHECK ON EATABLES IN FOOTPATHS

The EO instructed the concerned to have regular check on the eatables that are being sold in the foot path routes to pilgrims. He also instructed to have a regular check on the quality of medicines from time to time.
