SECOND CONVOCATION AT S V VEDIC VARSITY ON SEPT.22

Tirupati, 18 September 2014: The Sri Venkateswara Vedic University of TTD, the only vedic varsity of its kind in the entire country, is all set to organize the second convocation on 22nd September which will be graced by the Chancellor H.E. Hon’ble Governor of Andhra Pradesh, Sri ESL Narasimhan, said the varsity vice-chancellor Sri KE Devanathan.

Addressing the media persons in his chambers at the varsity in Tirupati on Thursday evening, the VC said, renowned Sanskrit scholar from Vijayawada Sri Madduri Venkateswarayajulu with Maha Mahopadhyaya titile on this special occasion.

“About 414 students will be conferred with degrees by Hon’ble Governor which includes three Ph.D students-Vidya Varadhi for the first time. Others includes 108 M.A.-Acharya, 171 B.A-Shastry, seven PG Diplomas, 15 Diplomas, 110-certificate course students”, VC maintained.

Adding further the VC said, “Vedic Science Forum Cell and Placement Cell will be inaugurated on this coveted occasion. The Vedic Cell will help to bring out the secrets of vedic science which is helpful for the society while the placement cell will help the vedic students to get placements as archakas in the temple located overseas”, VC said.

Varsity Registrar Dr A Vijay Kumar was also present.
