SERVE PILGRIMS WITH DEDICATION IN RIVER FETE-TIRUMALA JEO
Vijayawada, 21 July 2016: Describing the Srivari Seva voluntary service as the emerging branch of a growing tree, Tirumala JEO Sri K S Sreenivasa Raju who is also acting as the nodal officer of Krishna Pushkarams 2016, called up on the Vijayawada-based team leaders of Srivari Seva to render dedicated services to the multitude of visiting pilgrims during the religious mega river fete.
Addressing Srivari Seva team leaders in TTD Kalyana Mandapam at Vijayawada, the JEO has given a clarion call to them to enhance the reputation of the Srivari Seva voluntary systems in millions of eyes through their valuable services. “You are doing commendable services in Tirumala, Tirupati and other temples of TTD from the past many years. Now we are utilising your services event in Dharma Prachara and other religious programmes convened by TTD. Last year you have proved you mettle in Godavari Maha Pushkaram and this year we are anticipating more quality services from you as we are conducting this fete in the new capital city of Navyandhra”, he added.
Later he said, the Sevakulu should render services in the replica temple located at PWD Grounds, queue lines, photo, ayurvedic, museum, garden expos, book stall, Annaprasadam, Health and Vigilance areas. Apart from this you should also render services at Andhra Maha Vishnu temple in Srikakulam and at Buddha Statue in Amaravathi where cultural and devotional programmes takes place”, he maintained.
The JEO said, by next brahmotsavams in Tirumala the exclusive building for srivari sevakulu will be opened with all facilities facilitating the sevakulu a convenient boarding and lodging facility. “The sevakulu should also enhance their service skills and provide the best quality services to the visiting pilgrims. To train you we are giving training with Satya Sai Seva Organisation now,” he said.
Later TTD PRO and Head of Srivari Seva Wing Dr T Ravi said, as TTD temple is going to open up five days prior to pushkarams on August 7, the sevakulu should report before the concerned HoDs in their allotted areas on August 6 in uniform. “Follow the instructions of the HoDs in the respective service areas and offer best possible services to pilgrim devotees”, he told the sevakulu.
Earlier the JEO inspected the construction site where the replica temple of Lord Venkateswara is coming up and complimented the engineering officials for bringing out the temple structure in the best possible manner as per schedule.
Chief Engineer Sri Chandra Sekhar Reddy, Additional CVSO Sri Siva Kumar Reddy, SE Sri Sudhakar Rao, SE Electricals Sri Venkateswarulu, Marketing DyEO Sri Venugopal, Annaprasadam Trust Special Officer Smt Chenchu lakshmi, were also present.
