SERVICES OF ADIBHATLA TO HARIKATHA REMEMBERED

Tirupati, 29 August 2016: The scholars and intellectualshave recalled the impeccable services of Sri Ajjada Adibhatla Narayanadasu who pioneered Harikatha to become Pitamaha in this great art form.

The 152nd Birth Anniversary of this multifaceted personality was held at Mahati Auditorium on Monday evening.

Speaking on this occasion, the coordinator of Tarigonda Vengamamba Project Prof.KJ Krishnamurty said Sri Ajjada Adibhatla Narayana Dasu is also revered as “Harikatha Pitamaha” for his versatility in Harikatha Parayanam. He was a multifaceted talent who had mastered in eight languages including Telugu, Sanskrit, English, Arabic, Persian etc. and also in poetry, music, linguistics, philosophy and dance. He is undoubtedly the Pride of Telugus “, he added.
