“SERVICES OF VEGETABLE DONORS ARE COMMENDABLE”-TIRUMALA JEO

TIRUMALA, SEPTEMBER 10: The Annaprasadam wing of TTD has attained world wide popularity today because of the vegetable donors who have been contributing their largesse over the past one decade, said TTD Tirumala JEO Sri KS Sreenivasa Raju.

A review meeting with vegetable donors hailing from southern states of India at Annamaiah Bhavan held on Thursday. Addressing the vegetable donors the Jeo said, “the vegetable donations commenced from 2004 onwards and during last Brahmotsavams you are good enough to donate 26 varieties of vegetables. It is great that you are doing an incredible services to pilgrims. Today we are able to manage pilgrim crowds by serving Annaprasadam not only in Annaprasadam Complex but also in queue lines, waiting compartments also”, he said.

Adding further the JEO said, “A major chunk of successful pilgrim crowd management credit goes to Annaprasadam especially during crisis management. I foresee the same co-operation for you all not only in Ttd annual events but also during Krishna Pushkarams which are in offing next year”, he observed.

The vegetable donors have also given their consent to donate during Krishna Pushkarams also and thanked TTD for their support.

Earlier Deputy EO Annaprasadam Sri S Venugopal said TTD will be providing AC vehicle from September 16 onwards for the transportation of vegetables in good condition in spite of being transported from long distances.

Later JEO felicitated the vegetable donors.

Catering Officer Sri GLN Shastry, AEO Smt Geeta, Dy CO Sri Saibaba Reddy and other staff members of Annaprasadam wing, donors were also present.
