SHOBHA YATRA OF BHAJAN MANDALIS PERFORMED

TIRUPATI, JAN 14:  The three-day Traimasika Mettlotsavam flagged off in Tirupati on Saturday with the colourful “Shobha Yatra” of thousands of Bhajan troupes in the temple city of Tirupati.

The mass yatra started from Tiruchanoor temple and concluded at Srinivasa Kalyana Mandapam where in scores of bhajan mandalis with over 3500 devotees hailing from AP, Karnataka, Tamilnadu and Maharastra took part with enthusiasm singing the Dasa Padas all along the streets of the pilgrim town.

The TTD Chairman Sri K Bapi Raju, Dasa Sahitya Project officer Sri Ananda Teertha Charyulu, DyEO Sri Bhaskar Reddy, Spl Officer DPP Sri Raghunath was also present.
