SIMHA VAHANAM GLORIFIES THE PROWESS OF GODDESS

Tiruchanoor, 28 Nov. 16: On the third day evening, Goddess in all Her majesty takes a pride ride on the ferocious Simha Vahanam.

SIGNIFICANCE: Lion is the symbol of majesty, ferociousness, grace, power and speed. Among the eight important forms of Lakshmi Devi, Veera Lakshmi or Dhairya Lakshmi occupies an important place as She represents the ferocious form of Goddess Lakshmi. She represents perseverance, power, strength and courage.

By taking celestial ride on Simha Vahanam, the Goddess in the form of Veera Lakshmi blesses Herdevotees to possess infinite inner courage which is the path to victory.
