SMS APPLICATION TO DONORS ON PRIVILEGES-TTD EO

Tirumala, 3 May, 16: To make the privileges to donors more transparent, a SMS alert being forwarded to donors, as soon as they receive their privilege benefits from TTD said the EO Dr D Sambasiva Rao.

Reviewing with senior officers of TTD in Tirumala at Annamaiah Bhavan on Tuesday, TTD EO has instructed the IT wing of TTD to come out with an SMS alert application, as soon as the donor receives the privileges of darshan, accommodation, Laddu prasadam, medallions etc. during their visit to Tirumala to have darshan of Lord Venakteswara. “This will enhance transparency in the system and the donors too will be aware of their prescribed benefits”, he added.

Later the EO also reviewed on engineering works, especially second ghat road works.

Talking to media after coordination meeting he said, TTD is geared up for summer rush. ” Except for Saturdays and Sundays, the line is not coming out. Even during week ends, we are clearing the pilgrim queues extended to outside, with a clear plan of action”, he added.

Later Tirumala Jeo Sri KS Sreenivasa Raju said, all the departments are striving hard to give their best services to the multitude of visiting pilgrims during summer vacation.
