SNAPANA TIRUMANJANAM & PROCESSION OF SACRED FLOWERS AT TIRUMALA

Tirumala, 31 Oct. 14: Temple Priests of Sri Vari Temple performed Snapana Tirumanjanam (Celestial Bath) to Processional deities of Lord Malayappaswamy and His consorts in Connection with Sri Vari Annual Pushpa Yagam at sampangi prakaram inside Sri Vari Temple, Tirumala on Friday morning from 9am to 11am.

Later Procession of about 8tonnes of Sacred Flowers including 20 varieties of both traditional and ornamental took place from Garden office to Sri Vari Temple, Tirumala in connection with Annual Sri Vari Pushpa Yagam. About 200 srivari sevakulu did the voluntary service of carrying these sacred flowers all the way from garden office which is located in the papavinasam road to Tirumala main Temple. These flowers will be used for Pushpa Yagam which takes place between 1pm to 5pm inside srivari temple.

TTD Executive Officer Sri MG Gopal, Joint Executive Officer Sri KS Sreenivasa Raju, Sri DyEO(Temple) Sri Chinnamgari Ramana, Garden Supdt Sri Srinivas, Temple Peishkar Sri R Selvam, Garden staff and large number of Devotees took part.
