SOME EXCERPTS IN THE CENTRAL TOURISM CONSULTATIVE COMMITTEE MEETING HELD AT TIRUPATI _ పార్లమెంటరీ పర్యాటక అభివృద్ధి కమిటీ సమావేశం

TIRUPATI, JULY 8:  A high-level meeting of the Parliamentary Committee on Tourism Development held under the Chairmanship of Honourable Union Minister for Tourism Sri Subodh Kanth Sahay in Tirupati on Sunday evening. The meeting was also attended by other honourable members of the committee, local MP Dr Chinta Mohan, TTDs Chairman Sri Kanumuru Bapiraju, EO Sri LV Subramanyam, JEO Sri KS Srinivasa Raju and other dignitaries from Tourism department, GOI, AP Tourism department. Some excerpts of the meeting:
 
The honourable Union Minister and other members have complimented the TTDs for its effective management of the pilgrim crowd as well the hygienic sanitation measures being taken in the abode of Lord Venkateswara inspite the pilgrim town is being visited by tens of thousands of pilgrims every day.
 
Sri Sahay also said that taking TTD as role model in terms of cleanliness management, the central Tourism department has decided to identify 100 important pilgrim tourism places in the country and send their representatives to TTD to get trained on sanitation and crowd management measures.
 
Earlier in the power point presentation, TTD EO Sri LV Subramanyam briefed the committee about the various amenities being provided by TTD to the visiting pilgrims, general infrastructure, cleanliness management at PACs, Potu, Annaprasada Bhavanam, other important places. EO also elaborated on the future plans of TTD in the wake of ever-increasing pilgrim rush to Tirumala. He said TTD is also contemplating to develop the Sri Venkateswara Museum located in Tirumala more attractive place for the sake of visiting pilgrims. He said, a ring road is also in offing at Tirumala to avoid traffic congestion in the holy temple town.
 
Over the proposal of the local MP Dr Chinta Mohan and TTD Chairman Sri Bapiraju, it has been decided to run three free local bus transportation facility by RTC which will commence on July 9 connecting all the important temples falling under Heritage Circuit.

తిరుపతి, 2012 జూలై 08: కేంద్ర పర్యాటక శాఖ మంత్రి శ్రీ సుబోధ్‌కాంత్‌ సహాయ్‌ నేతృత్వంలోని పార్లమెంటరీ పర్యాటక అభివృద్ధి కమిటీ సమావేశం ఆదివారం సాయంత్రం తిరుపతిలో జరిగింది. ఈ కార్యక్రమంలో తిరుపతి ఎంపీ శ్రీ చింతామోహన్‌, తితిదే చైర్మన్‌ శ్రీ కనుమూరి బాపిరాజు, ఈఓ శ్రీ ఎల్వీ సుబ్రమణ్యం, జెఈఓ శ్రీ కె.ఎస్‌.శ్రీనివాసరాజు, ఇతర అధికారులు పాల్గొన్నారు. ఇందు లోని ముఖ్యాంశాలు.

ఈ సందర్భంగా ఈఓ భక్తుల సౌకర్యార్థం తితిదే అమలుచేస్తున్న పలు అభివృద్ధి కార్యక్రమాలను వివరిస్తూ తిరుమలకు వస్తున్న లక్షలాది మంది భక్తులకు సంతృప్తికర దర్శనం కల్పిస్తున్నామని, వసతుల విషయంలో ఎలాంటి ఇబ్బందులు లేకుండా చర్యలు చేపడుతున్నామని తెలిపారు. పారిశుద్ధ్యం విషయంలో అన్ని జాగ్రత్తలు తీసుకుంటున్నామని, సమర్థవంతంగా ఘన వ్యర్థాల నిర్వహణ చేపడుతున్నామని వివరించారు. తిరుమలలో పాదచార భక్తులకు ఇబ్బందులు లేకుండా రింగ్‌రోడ్డు నిర్మిస్తున్నామని తెలిపారు. అంతేగాక భక్తులకు విజ్ఞానం పంచేందుకు తిరుమలలో మ్యూజియంను ఇంకా అభివృద్ధి చేస్తున్నట్టు తెలిపారు.

దీనిపై కేంద్ర మంత్రి శ్రీ సుబోధ్‌కాంత్‌ సహాయ్‌ స్పందిస్తూ తితిదే శ్రీవారి భక్తులకు అందిస్తున్న సేవలను కొనియాడారు. తితిదేని ఆదర్శంగా తీసుకుని దేశవ్యాప్తంగా 100 దర్శనీయ ప్రదేశాల్లో ప్రభుత్వ, ప్రయివేటు భాగస్వామ్యంతో పారిశుద్ధ్య నిర్వహణకు చర్యలు చేపడతామని తెలిపారు. అక్కడి సిబ్బందిని తిరుమలకు శిక్షణ కోసం పంపుతామన్నారు.

కాగా పార్లమెంటరీ కమిటీకి స్థానిక ఎంపీ శ్రీ చింతామోహన్‌ చేసిన ప్రతిపాదన మేరకు జూలై 9 నుండి హెరిటేజ్‌ కారిడార్‌లోని 17 ఆలయాలను సందర్శించే విధంగా మూడు ఉచిత బస్సులను ఆర్‌టిసి ద్వారా నడపడానికి నిర్ణయం తీసుకున్నారు. ఈ మేరకు ఈ సౌకర్యాన్ని రాష్ట్ర ముఖ్యమంత్రి శ్రీ నల్లారి కిరణ్‌కుమార్‌రెడ్డి ప్రారంభిస్తారని అధికారవర్గాలు తెలిపాయి.
