Tirupati, Nov 23: TTD has designed the noval “Sowbhagyam” programme, exclusively for married ladies, which will take place from November 22 to 27 in across 100 temples surrounding the temple town of Tiruchanoor.

In connection with the annual Karthika Brahmotsavams at Tiruchanoor, TTD will conduct “Sowbhagyam” programme on Friday where in the procession of sacred items like Vermilion, Turmeric, bangles etc. that are believed to be the identity of a married women in Hinduism will be taken out for a procession from Panchami Mandapam to temple of Goddess Padmavathi at Tiruchanoor to get Her divine blessings.

Being the beloved of Lord Venkateswara, Goddess Padmavathi is considered to be the Goddess of prosperity. So, Woman being the identity of prosperity in every Indian especially in Hindu household is being invited with this noval programme where in hundreds of  married women take out procession in the mada streets of Tiruchanoor by 8.30am.
