Tirumala, 2 Jul. 20: The Honourable Speaker of Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly, Sri Tammineni Sitaram offered prayers in the Hill Shrine of Lord Venkateswara at Tirumala on Thursday morning.
After darshan speaking to media persons outside the temple he said he prayed the Supreme Lord to save the entire world from the dreadful corona Covid 19 virus.
“Very soon the present situation will return to normalcy with the blessings of Venkateswara Swamy. As per TTD officials already about ten thousand pilgrims are booking in advance and coming for darshan of Lord every day. The arrangements by TTD in view of COVID 19 restrictions are laudable. I am confident that everything will become normal like before”, he asserted.
Later the Speaker and Hon’ble Minister for Animal Husbandry and Fisheries Sri Mopidevi Venkata Ramana Rao also took part in Sundaraknda Pathanam at Nadaneerajana Mandapam in Tirumala.

ఆలయం ఎదుట ఆయన మీడియా ప్రతినిధులతో మాట్లాడారు. కరోనా నేపథ్యంలో టిటిడి అధికారులు అన్ని జాగ్రత్తలు అమలుచేస్తూ భక్తులకు స్వామివారి దర్శనం చేయిస్తున్నారని చెప్పారు. ఆన్ లైన్ ద్వారా రోజుకు దాదాపు 10 వేల మంది భక్తులు సంతోషంగా స్వామిని దర్శించుకుంటున్నారని స్పీకర్ చెప్పారు. త్వరలోనే తిరుమల పూర్వస్థితికి వచ్చి భక్తులతో కళకళలాడుతుందన్నారు. అనంతరం ఆయన నాదనీరాజన వేదికపై టిటిడి నిర్వహిస్తున్న సుందరకాండ పారాయణంలో పాల్గొన్నారు.
