SPEED UP VONTIMITTA BTUs ARRANGEMENTS-TTD EO

Tirupati, 12 March 2017: As the annual brahmotsavams in Vontimitta is scheduled from April 5 to April 14 with Ankurarpanam on April 4, TTD EO Dr D Sambasiva Rao has directed the officials concerned to speed up the ongoing arrangements for the big fete.

During the weekly review meeting in his chambers in TTD Administrative building in Tirupati on Monday, the EO reviewed with the officials on arrangements with respect to temple, archakas, utsava vidhi, the ongoing works for the construction of PAC, land scape gardening to be developed at Kalyana Vedika and in the surroundings in Vontimitta for the ensuing annual brahmotsavams.

He said, “On April 5, Dhwajarohanam, April 8 Hanumantha Vahanam, April 9 Garuda Vahanam, April 10 Sri Sita Rama Kalyanam, April 11 Rathotsavams are some the most important days during the nine day fete. So elaborate security arrangements should be made in co-ordination with the district administration and police to see that the pilgrims devotees are not put any sort of inconvenience. Sprinkler waters should be arranged to give relief to the devotees from scorching temperatures”, he added.

Later he reviewed on SVLRC activities. The chief of SVLRC Col.Chandrasekhar Manda has given power point presentation on the ongoing digitisation process of available books in SV Library and Research Centre.

JEO Tirupati Sri P Bhaskar, SO Sri Muktheswara Rao, CE Sri Chandrasekhar Reddy, ACVSO Sri Sivakumar Reddy, additional FACAO Sri Balaji, GM Sri Sesha Reddy, CMO Sri N Vikas were also present.
