TIRUPATI, JULY 8:  The Hon’ble Minister for AP Endowments, Sri P Manikyala Rao appreciated the various activities taken up by TTD with a motto of preserving, propagating and promoting Hindu Sanatana Dharma and asked the officials to design more such programmes for a wider reach.

The minister who was on his maiden visit to Tirumala, after darshan of Lord Venkateswara on Tuesday, reviewed on various TTD activities in Sri Padmavathi Rest House in Tirupati for about three-hours. TTD EO Sri MG Gopal explained to him about various departments and their important activities including the free amenities to the pilgrims, spiritual activiites taken up by TTD through HDPP, various social activities, srivari seva voluntary service etc through a detailed power point presentation.

After thoroughly goint through the slides, the minister appreciated the wide range of spiritual and social activities taken up by TTD apart from providing darshan and other amenities to the visiting pilgrims.

Later speaking to media persons he said, “The programme of Venkateswara Vaibhavotsavams” designed by TTD which are scheduled to take place in Vizag from July 21-29 is praiseworthy. This will enable the devotee of Lord to witness the rituals that are being performed in Srivari temple sitting right in their own placed. I wish TTD to organise more such programmes as it would have a great impact on the society and help in Hindu Dharma Prachara”, he added.

Earlier the Endowment Minister released books titled “ HINDU DHARMA RAKSHANA MANA KARTHAYAM AND DHARMA PRACHARA DARSHINI”.

The minister also appreciated TTD for Shravanam Project, BIRRD, SV Poor Home, Balamandir, Vedic pathashalas.

The meeting was also attended by Endowments Commissioner Smt Anuradha, JEOs Sri KS Sreenivasa Raju, Sri P Bhaskar, CVSO Sri G Srinivas and other HODs.
