Tirupati, 18 February 2018: The TTD CVSO Sri Ake Ravikrishna today said that sports and recreation is essential for TTD employees to resolve the physical and mental stress and provide quality service to devotees who come for Lords darshan at Tirumala.

Speaking as chief guest at the valedictory of the TTD annual sports meet at the Mahati auditorium here the CVSO said TTD employees worked under heavy stress to meet daily challenges of providing darshan, laddus, tonsuring to thousands of devotees.

Referring to Arjuna tutoring to Ekalavya in Mahabharata he said the Sports had enabled spreading reputation of Indians across the globe and advocated that all TTD employees should engage themselves in daily physical exercises and also sports to maintain a healthy mind and healthy body.

Later on, TTD PRO DR T Ravi said that annual sports meet was conducted from 1977 to strengthen the employees mentally and physically in serving the devotees and also Lord Venkateswara. Sports, recreation, and Music were essential ingredients of a healthy workplace therapy, he said.

All the winners, runners-up in the fortnight-long TTD sports meets in various categories and events were presented their prizes. Nearly 491 First prizes, 491 Second prizes, and 67 third prizes were given away. Of the 1522 persons including retd employees and their family members who participated in the sports meet 1023 men and 493 were women.

The TTD employee’s kids who staged cultural events today were also presented prizes. Earlier Sri Bhaskar read out the Report card of the Sports meet and TTD welfare officer Smt Snehalata presented the thanksgiving report.

Among others, SE Sri Sudhakar Rao and other dignitaries participated in a big way.

తిరుపతి, 2018 ఫిబ్రవరి 18: ఉరుకులు పరుగులుగా సాగుతున్న నేటి ఆధునిక జీవనవిధానంలో శారీరక, మానసిక ఎదుగుదలకు, భక్తులకు మరింత మెరుగైన సేవలందించేందుకు క్రీడలు అవసరమని టిటిడి సివిఎస్వో శ్రీ ఆకే.రవికృష్ణ అన్నారు. టిటిడి ఉద్యోగుల వార్షిక క్రీడోత్సవాల ముగింపు కార్యక్రమం ఆదివారం సాయంత్రం తిరుపతిలోని మహతి కళాక్షేత్రంలో ఘనంగా జరిగింది.

ఈ కార్యక్రమానికి ముఖ్య అతిథిగా హాజరైన సివిఎస్వో ప్రసంగిస్తూ టిటిడి ఉద్యోగులు తీవ్ర వత్తిడితో విధులు నిర్వహిస్తున్నారని, వత్తిడిని అదిగమించడానికి, శారీరక ఆరోగ్యనికి క్రీడలు ఎంతగానో ఉపయోగపడతాయని తెలిపారు. క్రీడల ద్వారా మనలోని క్రొత్త కోణాలు వెలికి తీసుకురవచ్చని, మహాభారతంలోని అర్జునుడు, ఏకలవ్యుడు గురించి ఉదాహరించారు. క్రీడల ద్వారా దేశఖ్యాతిని ఖండాంతరాల తీసుకుపోవచ్చన్నారు. ప్రతి రోజు క్రీడలు, వ్యాయమం చేయాలని, ఉద్యోగులలో క్రీడా స్పూర్తి పెరిగితే ఆరోగ్యంగా వుంటారని సూచించారు. క్రీడలలో పాల్గొనడం ద్వార పోటితత్వం, మానసికంగా ఉల్లాసం వృద్ధి చెందుతాయన్నారు.

అనంతరం టిటిడి ప్రజాసంబంధాల అధికారి డా|| టి.రవి మాట్లాడుతూ టిటిడిలో 1977 నుండి ప్రతి సంవత్సరం క్రీడలు నిర్వహిస్తున్నట్లు తెలిపారు. కలియుగ ప్రత్యక్ష దైవం తిరుమల శ్రీ వేంకటేశ్వరస్వామివారిని దర్శించుకునేందుకు ప్రతి రోజు విచ్చేసే వేలాది మంది భక్తులకు విశేష సేలందిస్తున్న ఉద్యోగులకు క్రీడలు అవసరమన్నారు. క్రీడల వల్ల మానసిక ఉత్తేజంతో పాటు సంస్థలో మరింత కష్టపడి పనిచేయడానికి దోహద పడుతుందన్నారు. ప్రతి ఒక్కరు ఆరోగ్యంగా, ఉత్సాహంగా ఉండేందుకు క్రీడలు – సంగీతం అవసరమని తెలియజేశారు.

అనంతరం టిటిడి ఉద్యోగుల పిల్లలకు సాంస్కృతిక పోటీలు నిర్వహించి, విజేతలకు బహుమతులు ప్రధానం చేశారు.

కాగా, వివిధ క్రీడాపోటీల్లో విజేతలుగా నిలిచిన వారికి సివిఎస్వో చేతులమీదుగా బహుమతులు ప్రధానం చేశారు. ఉద్యోగుల్లో మొత్తం 491 మంది ప్రథమ, 491 మంది ద్వితీయ, 67 మంది తృతీయ బహుమతులు అందుకున్నారు. మొత్తం వివిధ విభాగాల్లో 1522 మంది ఉద్యోగులు, విశ్రాంత ఉద్యోగులు, వారి కుటుంబ సభ్యులు క్రీడాపోటీల్లో పాల్గొన్నారు. వీరిలో 1023 మంది పురుషులు, 493 మంది మహిళా ఉద్యోగులు ఉన్నారు.

అంతకుముందు టిటిడి వార్షిక క్రీడా పోటీల నివేదికను శ్రీ భాస్కర్‌ వివరించగా, టిటిడి సంక్షేమాధికారి శ్రీమతి సేహలత ముగింపు సందేశం ఇచ్చారు.
