SRI GT GEARS UP FOR TIRUMALA NAMBI ANNUAL FETE
Tirupati, 19 October 2016: The sub shrine of Tirumala Nambi located in Sri Govindaraja Swamy temple in Tirupati is gearing up to observe the annual Tirumala Nambi festival from October 24 till November 2.
On the final day Tirumala Nambi Sattumora will be conducted during which the deities will be rendered snapana tirumanjanam while in the evening they will be taken on a celestial procession in the four mada streets. The appam prasadam which is prepared in Tirumala reaches Tirumala Nambi shrine here on this auspicious occasion.
Tirumala Nambi was one of the ardent devotees of Lord Venkateswara who pioneered pushpa kainkaryam in Tirumala shrine.
