SRI KODANDARAMA SWAMY BRAHMOTSAVAMS CONCLUDES WITH CHAKRASNANAM

TIRUPATI, 26 March 2015: The nine-day brahmotsavams of Sri Kodandarama Swamy temple concluded on a religious note with Chakrasnanam that was being performed at Kapilateertham temple tank here on Thursday.

After rendering a holy bath with sandalwood paste, honey, milk, curd, coconut and turmeric, the ‘Sudarshana Chakrattalwar’ was carried by the temple priests amid the chanting of Vedic hymns and was given a holy dip in the temple tank in the auspicious hours. Pilgrims also took holy dip in the tank.
