SRI KRISHNA JANMASHTAMI AT TIRUCHANUR

Tiruchanur 25 August 2016: The annual colorful and devotion packed festival of Sri Krishna Janmashtami was also celebrated today at the Sri Krishna temple in the Sri Padmavati temple (PAT) at Tiruchanoor.

On the auspicious day Suprabatham and abhishekam was performed in the morning for the main idols of Sri Balram and Krishna, Snapana thirumanjanam in the afternoon and later Unjal seva in the evening besides procession of utsava idols on the Pedda Sesha vahanam at PAT mada streets at night.

All the events were performed to the rhythmic recital of vedic chants and devotional sankirtana. Besides the DyEO of sub temples – Sri Chinnagari Ramana, AEO Sri Radhakrishna and other officials participated.
