SRI VARI SALAKATLA BRAHMOTSAVAM BEGINS IN TIRUMALA ON OCT 5 _ ధ్వజారోహణంతో వైభవంగా శ్రీవారి బ్రహ్మోత్సవాలు ప్రారంభం

Tirumala, Oct 5: Dwajarohanam marks the beginning of Nine day spiritual bonanza for devotees of Lord Venkateswara as it is the first traditional religious ceremony which is being observed during the Annual Salakatla Brahmotsavam.
Dhwajarohanam has been carried out in a religious atmosphere amidst the chanting of Vedic mantras by the Archakas of the temple at the Dwajasthambham, near the Nadimi Padi Kavili inside the temple complex. The temple priests hoisted the celestial flag atop the temple pillar between 5.30pm to 6pm.
As mythology says Garudathe being one of the disciplined disciples of lord Venkateswara goes to Devalokam to invite Gods like Brahma, Indra, Yama, Agni, Kubera and Vayudeva and saptarishis to participate in the nine-day spectacular event Salakatla Brahmotsavams.
As part of the Brahmotsavam the lord Venkateswara in the form of processional Deity Lord Malayappa Swamy comes out of his temple every day in the morning and evening to give darshan to his devotees on various special vahanams.
Chief Election Commissioner Sri V.S.Sampath, TTD Chairman Sri K.Bapi Raju, EO TTD Sri M.G.Gopal, JEO’s Sri K.S.Sreenivasa Raju, Sri P.Venkatarami Reddy, CVSO Sri GVG Ashok Kumar, DyEOs Sri Siva Reddy, Sri Chinnamagari Ramana, Peishkar Sri R.Selvam and others took part in this event.

తిరుమల, 05 అక్టోబరు 2013: అఖిలాండకోటి బ్రహ్మాండనాయకుడైన తిరుమల శ్రీవారి సాలకట్ల బ్రహ్మోత్సవాలు శనివారం సాయంత్రం మీనలగ్నంలో శాస్త్రోక్తంగా నిర్వహించిన ధ్వజారోహణంతో అంగరంగ వైభవంగా ప్రారంభం కానున్నాయి.
వైఖానస ఆగమోక్తంగా గరుడకేతన ప్రతిష్ఠ, కంకణధారణ, ఆలయ ఆవరణలోనూ, బయటచుట్టూ, అష్టదిక్కుల్లోనూ బలిని వేస్తూ స్వామివారు శ్రీదేవి, భూదేవి సమేతంగా ఆలయ నాలుగు మాడ వీధుల్లో ఊరేగి అష్టదిక్పాలకులను ఆహ్వానిస్తారు. అనంతరం శ్రీవారు ఆలయంలోని ధ్వజస్తంభం వద్దకు చేరుకుంటారు. మిగిలిన పరివార దేవతలైన అనంత, గరుడ, విష్వక్సేన, సుగ్రీవ, హనుమంత అంగదులు విమాన ప్రదక్షిణంలో ఉన్న అంకురార్పణ మండపానికి చేరుకుంటారు. ఆ తరువాత శ్రీదేవి, భూదేవి సమేత శ్రీ మలయప్పస్వామివారి సమక్షంలో వేదగానాల మధ్య మంగళవాద్యాలు మోగుతుండగా అర్చకస్వాములు బంగారు ధ్వజస్తంభంపై గరుడధ్వజాన్ని ఎగురవేస్తారు. ఈ ఘట్టంతో శ్రీవారి బ్రహ్మోత్సవాలు ఘనంగా ప్రారంభమవుతాయి.
రాత్రి రాష్ట్ర ముఖ్యమంత్రివర్యులు గౌ|| శ్రీ ఎన్‌.కిరణ్‌కుమార్‌రెడ్డి స్వామివారికి రాష్ట్ర ప్రభుత్వం తరఫున పట్టువస్త్రాలు సమర్పించనున్నారు. రాత్రి 9.00 నుండి 11.00 గంటల వరకు పెద్దశేష వాహనంపై శ్రీవారి విహరించి భక్తులను కటాక్షించనున్నారు.
