SEA OF HUMANITY TURNS OUT FOR MEGA FETE

BENGALURU, 16 DECEMBER 2022: The celestial Srinivasa Kalyanam fete was observed with utmost religious grandeur and ecstasy at the spacious District Stadium Grounds in Ramnagar in Bengaluru on the pleasant evening on Friday.

ELABORATE ARRANGEMENTS

Elaborate arrangements were made by the donors comprising former CM of Karnataka Sri HD Kumara Swamy along with the local legislator Smt Anita Kumara Swamy, Sri Nikil Kumara Swamy and family.

FLORAL AND ELECTRICAL SETS 

The floral decorations, electrical illuminations, images of different deities including Lord Venkateswara, Goddess Padmavathi, Dasavatarams etc. stood as a cynosure on the auspicious occasion.

TTD ARCHAKAS PERFORM THE FETE

A team of TTD archakas and Veda pundits led by one of the Chief Preists of Tirumala temple Sri Krishna Seshachala Deekshitulu have performed the Srinivasa Kalyanam as per Vaikhanasa Agama tradition to the accompaniment of Melam and Mangala Vaidyam. The entire celestial event took place in big way under the personal supervision of TTD JEO for Education and Health Smt Sada Bhargavi.

TTD has been organizing the holy event in all the major cities and different places as a part of its noble mission to take forward Hindu Dharma Prachara across the country and in coordination with of philanthropists of the respective places.

SERIES OF RITUALS IN SRINIVASA KALYANAM:

The various stages of Srivari Kalyanam fete included Punyahavachanam, Viswaksena Aradhana, Ankurarpanam, Maha Sankalpam, Kanyadanam, Mangalya Dharana,Varana Mayiaram and finally Harati was rendered.

DEVOTEES ENTHRALLED

Every inch of the venue was occupied by devotees who thronged to witness the celestial Kalyanam with utmost devotion. The devotees were enthralled by the divine charm of the deities Sri-Bhu sameta Sri Srinivasa in their celestial splendour. The entire premises echoed to the divine chants of “Srinivasa..Venkataramana..Govinda..Govinda”.

FORMER PM TAKES PART

Former Prime Minister of India, Sri Deve Gowda along with his spouse Smt Chennamma Gowda also participated in this spiritual extravaganza.

The celestial event was conducted in a religious manner between 6pm and 8pm. The Annamacharya Artistes rendered Sankeetans in a melodious manner on the occasion.

The CEO SVBC Sri Shanmukh Kumar, VGO Sri Giridhar, SVETA Director Smt Prasanthi, HDPP Special Officer Smt Vijaya lakshmi, Aeo Kalyanam Project Sri Sriramulu, DyEEs Sri Sarvesh, Sri Manohar and others were present.
