SRINIVASA MANGAPURAM BRAHMOTSAVAMS FROM FEBRUARY 10 TTD EO INSPECTS ARRANGEMENTS

TIRUPATI, JAN 28: The annual Brahmotsavams of Sri Kalyana Venkateswara swamy temple in Srinivasa Mangapuram is scheduled to take place from February 10-18 and following this mega fete, TTD EO Dr D Sambasiva Rao inspected the ongoing arrangements in the temple on Wednesday evening.

After the inspection, he reviewed with various HoDs and instructed the concerned not to compromise on arrangements as the temple is considered to be as popular as Tirumala located near Tirupati. He also said ttd has sought the archaeological department to speed up the pending developmental works including Prakaram, extension of Potu and kalyana Mandapam, shifting of Yagashala etc.

Meanwhile koil alwar tirumanjanam will be performed on February 5 and ankurarpanam on February 9. The nine day religious fete starts with dhwajarohanam on February 10 in Meena lagnam and the first vehicle procession being pedda Sesha vahanam in the evening. On February 11 there will be, chinna Sesha vahanam in the morning and Hama Vahanam in the evening, on February 12 simha and mutyapu pandiri, February 13 kalapavruksha and sarvabhoopala, February 14 mohini avataram and Garuda vahanams, February 15 Hanumantha, swarna Ratham and gajavahanam, February 16 surya prabha and chandraprabha, February 17 Rathotsavam and Aswa Vahanam and on February 18 chakrasnanam.

Tirupati Jeo Sri Pola Bhaskar, Chief Engineer Sri Chandrasekhar Reddy, Archeology Deputy Directro Sri Munirathnam Reddy, Executive Engineer Sri Nageswara Rao, SE Sri Sudhakar Rao, Temple Dy EO Sri Sridhar, AEO Sri Dhananjeyulu, VGO Sri Y Ravindra Reddy and others were also present.
