SRIVARI SEVA SHOULD SPEARHEAD OTHERS IN SERVICE -TIRUMALA JEO
TIRUPATI, NOV 25: The TTD-run voluntary service of Srivari Seva should spearhead others in the field of service and should acclaim global recognition in the area of voluntary service, said TTDs Tirumala JEO Sri KS Sreenivasa Raju.
Sri Raju who inaugurated the five-day training class to Srivari Seva trainers at SVETA bhavan in Tirupati on Monday in his address called upon the trainers to dedicate themselves in the service of multitude of visiting pilgrims who come to Tirumala from far-flung places of country as well abroad.
He asked the trainers to make use of the five-day training programme under the guidance of stalwarts and intellectuals of Hindu Sanatana Dharma, various service organisations, Yoga etc. which is designed by the management with a noble aim to enhance and strengthen Srivari Seva. “Spread this knowledge to train up the Srivari Seva volunteers who throng Tirumala every day for the betterment of the voluntary service. There are many service organisations in our country which have become popular through their way of services. The Lord Venkateswara temple of Tirumala has a remarkable place across the world being one of the biggest Hindu Religious Institutions. Similarly in future Srivari Seva should also become one of the best voluntary service organisations not only in the country but also in the world”, he added.
Versatile scholars hailing from various fields including former HDPP Secretaries Dr Chilakapati Vijayaraghavacharyulu, Dr HS Brahmananda have given thought provoking lectures on Hindu Sanatana Dharma and quintessence of service respectively while Sri G Sri Chette quoting examples from Hindu epics also given a informative presentation on e-Sevas of TTD including on-line booking of darshan tickets, e-Hundi donations etc.
Earlier the SVETA Director Dr KV Ramakrishna has given a brief picture on the various subjects to be trained during these five days class to trainers.
Meanwhile 24 trainers hailing from different parts of the country including Kolkata, Salem, Coimbatore, Bengaluru apart from Andhra Pradesh participated in the training programme.
APRO and OSD Srivari Seva Ms P Neelima, Retired SV Arts College Principal Sri Nagendra Sai, staff members of Srivari Seva were also present.
