SRIVARI SEVA TRAINERS TRAINING PROGRAMME FROM NOV 25-29

TIRUPATI, NOV 23: With an aim to offer better services to the visiting pilgrims through the Srivari Seva volunteers, the temple administration of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams has conceptualized a unique programme where Master Trainers will train Srivari Seva Trainers.

This five-day training programme will be inaugurated by TTD EO Sri MG Gopal on November 25 in SVETA bhavan in Tirupati. The “Master Trainers” include stalwarts and intellectuals hailing from different fields. These master trainers will train the trainers till November 29 from 10am to 5.30pm on various subjects relating to Hindu Dharma, selfless services offered by various eminent personalities in ancient and contemporary India, personality development with reference to messages from Indian epics, on the social welfare activities including various schemes and trusts taken up by TTD to help the poor and needy, rendition of bhajans and slokas and many more.

After under going training in SVETA these Trainers will inturn train the Srivari Sevakulu in Tirumala every day. Daily there will be a two and a half hour long training class each in the morning and in the evening to cover all the srivari sevakulu. The orientation class includes Yoga-Meditation-power point presentation- bhajans and feed back sessions.

Meanwhile TTD has introduced Srivari Seva in the year 2000, on November 1 on the principle of “MANAVA SEVAYE MADHAVA SEVA-SERVICE TO MANKIND IS SERVICE TO GOD” to offer voluntary selfless services to visiting pilgrims with discipline, devotion and dedication in a transparent and efficient manner. In the last 13 years of its journey, Srivari Seva voluntary service attained new heights and today it has become one of the chief supporting organs of TTD especially in the pilgrim crowd management.
