SRIVARI SEVAKS ARE DISCIPLENED SOLDIERS OF SRIVARU

TIRUMALA, JULY 23:  The Srivari Sevakulu who have been rendering to the free services to the multitude of visiting pilgrims are the disciplined soldiers of Lord Venkateswara said, Tirumala temple deputy EO Sri Chinnamagari Ramana.

Addressing the awareness meeting meant for srivari seva volunteers at PAC III in Tirumala on Wednesday, the temple deputy EO said, “began with just 195 volunteers in the year 2000, the srivari seva has spread its tentacles and today  so far over 5.5lakh volunteers have sanctified their lives in the service of pilgrims”, he added. The temple deputy EO said, TTD EO Sri MG Gopal has recently introduced a revolutionary mechanism of three-stepped darshan which won the hearts of the pilgrims.

“But some of the Srivari sevakulu who are allotted service inside the garbhalayam are deviating norms and occupying the space meant for pilgrims, giving preference to have their own darshan rather than service which is not a correct procedure”, he observed.

Sri Ramana called upon the srivari sevakulu to render the services with pure hearts and win the blessings of Lord Venkateswara. “Wherever you are allotted the service do it with utmost devotion then your lives will be blessed”, he added.

Earlier Sri Venkatadri, the Assistant Vigilance and Security Officer of Sector III in his address advocated that Srivari Sevakulu should become the role model to other service organisations in the entire world. “In the recent time some complaints have been pouring in on some of the Srivari Sevakulu who is giving importance to their selfish needs rather than service. Because of the mistakes of a few, the reputation of Srivari Seva may decline. “So do the service with discipline and commitment and build up the image of the service system”, he added.

The meeting was presided over by Ms P Neelima, Assistant PRO and OSD Srivari Seva who has earlier enlightened the srivari sevakulu on the guidelines. Over 2000 srivari sevakulu hailing from various parts of the country took part in this meet.

Meanwhile with an aim to strengthen the Srivari Seva system, the TTD EO Sri MG Gopal has directed the concerned department officials to organise awareness meeting immediately after the enrolment of the sevakulu and also get the feed back reports from the leaders so as to bring transparency in the administration and also to enhance the Srivari Seva.
