SRIVARI SEVAKULU FOR ”CLEAN AND HYGIENIC TIRUMALA”
TIRUMALA, FEB 13:TTD Health Officer, Dr Venkatramana on Friday called upon the Srivari Sevakulu to join their hands in the TTD’s noble and noval mission of “Clean and Hygienic Tirumala”.
Addressing the Srivari Sevakulu at Asthana Mandapam in Tirumala, the Health Officer of TTD advocated that the srivari sevakulu are blessed and beloved agents of Lord Venkateswara and they should profess the tenets of Hindu Santana Dharma through their services to pilgrims.
“Keeping the Tirumala clean and hygiene is also the responsibility of every individual whether it is an employee or a local or a shopkeeper or srivari seva volunteer or visiting pilgrim. Since you are in direct face with the pilgrims, guide them to properly use two bin system which was introduced by the management. The organic waste should be dropped in Green bin and the in organic materials like plastic, rubber, metal etc in Red colour bins placed at various places in Tirumala”, he maintained.
Earlier, after a brief meditation session to the srivari sevakulu, the Srivari Seva OSD and Assistant PRO Ms P Neelima, elaborated the sevakulu about the do’s and don’ts in Tirumala, mode of service at various work places including Annaprasadam, Health, Vigilance, temple, garden etc.
About 1000 srivari seva volunteers hailing from various places of the country took part in the meeting.
