SRIVARI SEVAKULU GEARS UP FOR SUMMER SERVICE

Tirumala, 24 Apr. 16: The chief supporting voluntary wing of TTD, Srivari Seva is geared up to offer services to multitude of visiting pilgrims during summer vacation both at Tirumala and Tirupati.

About 3000 sevakulu hailing from 13 states across the country, aged between 18-60 years have been invited by TTD to render services to fellow pilgrims during this summer which includes 2,500 in Tirumala and 500 at Tirupati.

In Hill Town the volunteers offer services to pilgrims in vaikuntam queue complexes, annaprasadam, vegetable cutting, health, vigilance, garden, Laddu counters, kalyanakatta, reception, radio and broadcasting and other departments.

While in Tirupati the sevakulu render services in all the local temples, central hospital run by TTD, srinivasam and vishnunivasam, dairy farm etc.

To extract better services from the sevakulu, under the instructions of TTD EO Dr D sambasiva Rao, Tirumala JEO Sri KS Sreenivasa Raju and Tirupati JEO Sri P Bhaskar, TTD PRO Dr T Ravi is providing regular training to all the sevakulu in Asthana Mandapam at Tirumala and at vishnunivasam in Tirupati every week.
