TTD TO SET UP “SAPTHA GOWPRADAKSHINASHALA” TO ENCOURAGE WORSHIP OF GOWMATA

Tirupati, 27 June 2015: After receiving overwhelming response for their impeccable services to the multitude of visiting in Tirumala and in Tirupati, the temple administration of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTDs) has all set to extend the services of Srivari Sevakulu in its yet another important wing, Sri Venkateswara Gosamrakshanashala.

Reviewing with the officials on SV Goshala in his chambers in TTD administrative building in Tirupati on Saturday, the TTD EO Dr D Samba Siva Rao poured in accolades for the selfless services of the Srivari Sevakulu who have supporting the TTD in pilgrim crowd management in Tirumala, Tirupati, Tiruchanoor and other sub-temples of TTD since last one and a half decades. Later he strongly felt that, to explain the importance of Gomata to the pilgrim devotees, the services of Srivari Sevakulu need to be extensively utilised in this area also.

He said, as a part of promotion of Hindu Sanatana Dharma, TTD has taken up the mammoth task of preserving, protecting and promoting Gow Mata and established the SV Gosamrakshanashala in Tirupati. “Now we are also contemplating to sustain the indigenous breeds in the sprawling 450acres of land near Palamaner by setting up a massive State-of-Art Goshala in near future. Constitute a committee and study the management of Goshalas across the nation and see that ours become role model to others”, he instructed the officials concerned. Later he also directed to to set up a Saptha Gow Pradakshina Shala in Goshala premises so as to attract the devotees to perform pujas to Go Mata as per age old tradition.

JEOs Sri KS Sreenivasa Raju, Sri P Bhaskar, CE Sri Chandrasekhar Reddy, Additional FACAO Sri O Balaji, Goshala Director Dr Harinath Reddy, Veterinary College Associate Dean Sri Eshwar Prasad and other officers were also present.
