Tirupati,6, November 2022: TTD announced on Sunday that on account of a lunar eclipse on November 8th, the Srivari temple shall remain closed for 11 hours from 08.30 hours to 7.30 pm.
A lunar eclipse occurs between 2.39 pm in the afternoon till 6.27 pm in the evening.
As a result, TTD said no break Darshan recommendation letters were accepted on Nov.7 and subsequently, there would be no break Darshan on Nov.8.
TTD said even Srivani trust donors break tickets and ₹300 Special Entry Darshan tickets were also cancelled on lunar eclipse day.
TTD appealed to devotees to make note of the changes and plan their visit to Tirumala accordingly.

తిరుమ‌ల, 2022 నవంబరు 06: చంద్ర‌గ్రహణం కారణంగా నవంబరు 8న మంగ‌ళ‌వారం ఉద‌యం 8.30 నుండి రాత్రి దాదాపు 7.30 గంటల వరకు 11 గంటల పాటు శ్రీవారి ఆలయ తలుపులు మూసి ఉంచుతారు. ఈ కారణంగా బ్రేక్ దర్శనం రద్దు చేసినందున నవంబరు 7న సిఫార్సు లేఖలు స్వీకరించబడవు.
మంగ‌ళ‌వారం మ‌ధ్యాహ్నం 2.39 గంటల నుండి సాయంత్రం 6.27 గంటల వరకు చంద్ర‌గ్రహణం ఉంటుంది.
చంద్ర‌గ్రహణం కారణంగా శ్రీ‌వాణి, రూ.300/- ప్ర‌త్యేక ప్ర‌వేశ దర్శనం టికెట్లను టిటిడి రద్దు చేసింది. రాత్రి 7.30 గంట‌లకు ఆలయ తలుపులు తెరిచి శుద్ధి చేసిన అనంతరం భక్తులను సర్వదర్శనానికి అనుమతిస్తారు.
