SRIVARI TEMPLE TO BE CLOSED ON APRIL 25 FOLLOWING LUNAR ECLIPSE

Tirumala, 24 April, 2013: In the wake of lunar eclipes during the late hours of Thursday night, the srivari temple will be closed by 5pm on Thursday.

According to TTD almanac the lunar eclispe will be during the late hours of April 25 i.e from 1.22am to 1.55am (wee hours of April 26). In this connection TTD has made certain changes in the various darshan timinings of the pilgrims. As a part of it TTD has cancelled  VIP begining break darshan, Rs.300 spl entry darshan, TTD has also taken decision not to issue Rs.50 ticket in the current booking. Those pilgrims who have already taken Rs.50 ticket in advance booking should enter the vaikuntam Q complex before 10am. Even the footpath pilgrims will be given darshan only upto 12pm.  (Pilgrims of various darshan categories will not allowed to enter the compartments after 12pm on april 25). The pilgrims will be allowed to enter vaikuntam Q complex only after 3am on 26 april.

TTD has also cancelled anga pradhakshana ticket on 25 and 26 april. Arjitha sevas like Suprabhatham, Thomala, Archana will be performed in ekantham. While pilgrims will be allowed for darshan only after 10am.
