STRENGTHEN DONOR CELL TO ENHANCE ITS SERVICES-TTD EO

Tirupati, 14 May 2015: TTD EO Dr D Samba Siva Rao strongly felt that there is a need to strengthen Donor Cell to enhance its services.

Reviewing on Donor Cell and various Trusts and a Scheme run by TTD in his chambers of TTD Administrative building on Thursday, the EO said, the entire Banking, Reception, Information services should be executed by Donor Cell only to have a smooth run of the system and for this the department need to be strengthened with staff, he maintained.

In this three-hour long review meeting the EO discussed in length on each and every trust, their pros and cons and need to streamline them in order reach more number of donors in an effective manner. He said some Trusts in spite of rendering more service are lagging behind in garnering funds while some Trusts in spite of having enough funds have not taken up any developmental programme. He has instructed the HoDs of every trust to come out with a strategic action plan to enhance the image of the TTD-run Trusts.

He also directed the SVBC officials to create documentaries on each and every trust in an appealing way to reach wide range of donors. Later he said, henceforth there will be monthly review meeting on all the trusts and a scheme of TTD.
