“STUDENTS SHOULD BE TAUGHT SPIRITUALLY APART FROM ACADEMICS”-JEO
TIRUPATI, SEPTEMBER 5: TTD JEO, Tirupati, Sri P Bhaskar on Saturday called upon the teachers to teach the students the moral values which are embedded in Hindu Sanatana Dharma apart from regular academics.
On the occasion of Teachers Day, Guru Poojotsavam was observed at Annamacharya Kalamandiram in Tirupati. Addressing the teachers of various TTD-run institutions he said, Guru-the Teacher has a pride and important place in Hindu Dharma as he is considered as the embodiment of “Trinity”. “Teach our children the way of leading righteous life by narrating mythological and ethical stories”, he observed. Adding further he said, TTD is contemplating plan of action for the overall development of its students to make them good citizens of the nation.
Later, the personality development expert Dr C Virender from Hyderabad gave some interesting about the teaching techniques to students in an impressive way.
Bhagavatgita Foundation President Sri Gangadhara Shastry later given an electrifying speech narrating the importance of Guru in Gita, by reciting some slokas from Bhagavat Gita and said Lord Sri Krishna is “Viswa Guru” and taught Arjuna the principles of life which relevant to the life of a human being for ever.
TTD Education Officer Sri Vijay Kumar, DyEO Smt Snehalatha and others were also present.
