Tirumala, 23 May 2016: Subhapradham Summer Training Classes on Sanatana Dharma and moral values is aimed at giving the best citizens to the country, asserted TTD Trust Board Chairman Dr Ch Krishnamurthy.
The Fifth Phase of Subhapradham classes commenced on a grand note in both Telugu speaking states on Monday. Addressing the inaugural session in SV Arts College and SPWDPG colleges in Tirupati, the Chairman said, India is called Veda Bhoomi – Land of Vedas since it has emerged from the ancient scriptures Vedas which are nothing but the divine words of Lord Brahma. The students should learn the basics of our dharma and ethical values embedded in our vedas to lead a righteous life and become the best citizens of the country to serve their mother land”, he added.
Later in his speech TTD EO Dr D Sambasiva Rao termed the students as “Ambassadors of Sanatana Dharma”. We are very much confident that these classes will help you to boost not only your personality but also motivates you to spearhead the cause of Hindu Sanatana Dharma in future”, he maintained. He also said, this year new syllabus with 16 chapters have been designed in a simple manner to educate the students. “Apart from this we are telecasting the classes with eminent scholars on SVBC to reach more number of students”, he added.
Meanwhile TTD has commenced this unique programme in 2012 with just 3,200 students followed by 5000 in 2013, about 19896 in 2014, over 16000 in 2015. In the current phase about 23000 students belonging to Andhra Pradesh and Telengana states will undergo training in this summer camp classes under 552 trained instructors in 45 centres.
