SUPPLY QUALITATIVE JAGGERY AND TAMARIND-EO TO SUPPLIERS

Tirupati, 27 Jul. 16: The TTD Executive Officer Dr D Sambasiva Rao has urged the suppliers of jaggery and tamarind to supply qualitative material to TTD.

A meeting was held with in the conference hall in TTD administrative building in Tirupati on Wednesday. The EO said that TTD is consuming 400 tonnes of Jaggery and 18 tonnes of Tamarind to meet its needs every year. He sought the suppliers to form an association and provide the material as at reasonable price.

The suppliers agreed to supply quality jaggery to TTD from Anakapalle, Rajapalem, Mandya, Kamareddy, Nizamabad and Madhurai.

Tirumala JEO Sri KS Sreenivasa Raju, Additionla FACAO Sri Balaji, Deputy EO Marketing Sri Venugopal, suppliers from southern states were also present.
