SUPRABHATAM TO RESUME IN SRI TT FROM JAN 15

Tirumala, 14 Jan 2016: The first and foremost Seva, Suprabhata Seva will resume in Sri Tirumala Temple from January 15 onwards as the Andal Sri Godai Tiruppavai Pasura Parayanam will conclude on Thursday evening.

Usually every year, with the advent of Dhanurmasam, Tiruppavai replaces Suprabhata Seva till the completion of holy month. As Dhanurmasam was commenced on the night of December16 last, Tiruppavai replaced Suprabhatam in Tirumala shrine. Every day each pasuram was rendered before Lord during the wee hours.

As the Pasura parayanam will be coming to an end on Thursday evening on January 14, Suprabhatam will resume in hill shrine from January 15 onwards.

Meanwhile there will be Goda Parinayam in Srivari temple on January 16 and on the same day noon Paruveta Utsavam will also be observed.

TTD has cancelled all arjitha sevas in connection with these twin events on Saturday.
